Mesh cover recommendations for inground pool 36x16 (DIY install)

Hello everyone.

I just purchased a home with a 36 x 16 rectangular pool. There are no anchor points in the concrete so a pool cover was never used. It appears there is only a solar bubble wrap type heater cover that the previous owners used during the harsh Michigan winters.

I'd like to get a pool cover for safety in case someone or an animal wanders into the gated pool area.

Which mesh covers do you recommend? I will be DIYing the install and I have trades experience so concrete drilling is not an issue for me.

We have a free-form RuggedMesh Meyco cover, bought in 2017 as a replacement for a 10-years old non-rugged mesh, also from Meyco. The RuggedMesh acts as a filter for dust/debris, which dries up on top of the cover and can be easily blown off. We open the pool to a much cleaner water than with a regular, thin mesh. At the same time, it is not excessively heavy, so my wife and I easily do closings and openings. We always detach springs as the first thing during opening. Without the springs, the cover floats on the surface and can be easily pulled out (or in) by two people holding the cover strap on the opposite sides of the pool.
