Menards has liquid pool shock on sale buy 1 get 1 free through the 7th

As the title of the post says, there's a good deal on liquid chlorine going right now. it's 12.5% as well.

I'm wondering, how much i should stock up on, and, does it ever go bad from sitting? Storage space isn't an issue for me. My pool has high CYA (around 80) so i keep my FC at about 10. I end up using about a gallon and a half in a week. I'm also in Minnesota so pool season ends in about 12-14 weeks.

How much would you get if it's only 2 bucks a gallon? I'm considering getting enough to last me until there's a good sale next season

Wow. this is the 2nd post I've seen where Menards has a great deal on LC. I wish we had a Menards!

I got 32 gallons yesterday, born on June 20. Hopefully that will see me through to fall, but I'm new at this so we'll see how my calculations pan out. I would not stock up and save it for next year, it does degrade. They will have a sale again in the spring.

They're also selling Muriatic Acid for $3 a gallon. Good sale. I'm covered through the end of the season. (They also have this deal pre-season - for us midwesterners - usually around April).

I just checked their adds on Monday for a sale. Just missed it...don't feel to bad because I got 12.5% at Thegreatescape for $2.99 per gallon their everyday price.
