Maytronics m400 for parts

I have a three-year-old Maytronics M 400 that is working. Thought somebody might be able to use it for parts. I just didnt feel like dumping a bunch of money into wear parts and bought a new S 20

Just a word of warning. I purchased a Raypak R6450 ti-E-HC from trouble free pool on 5/31/21. I got an order confirmation shortly after then backorder alerts on 6/1/21 and 6/23/21. It's understandable with the current state of the market. The lack of customer service to check on status in the following months was frustrating but given the current market again understandable.

The unit was finally shipped 9/13/21 and delivered 9/15/21 to my commercial HVAC and Plumbing business. Since it was so late in the season I decided to store the unit until spring instead of leaving it sit outside all winter. The unit was received checked over the same as the other hundreds of heat pumps we receive yearly and stored in the warehouse.

Wednesday I loaded the unit on my truck to take home for the pool guys to install along with a salt generator and pump on Thursday. I watched on the ring camera as they arrived and got started. Then I watched as they unboxed the unit in preparation to remove it from the truck and heard them remark "oh d#*n" and proceed to knock on the door then call me. There was damage to the back of the unit. In my estimation after driving home to check it out taking lot's of pics and removing the cover it was pretty clearly hit by the side of a forklift fork. There was only a mild mark on the box but the coil had been dislodged 2" or more. I watched my guys unload and store it and re-load it. The damaged side was to the back of the shelves. The damage clearly happened at the factory or in shipping and was not noticeable through the packaging.

Since the unit was under a year old and had never been installed I assumed this would be a relatively easy, though possibly long, warranty claim especially with all the pictures, video etc. and told the pool guys to leave it on the truck. I wasn't going to pay to install a potentially defective damaged unit.

That's where the fun started. When George from Pool Supply Unlimited called after I left an urgent message on their chat (they have no phone number to call for service) he almost immediately told me there was nothing they could do because they couldn't pass the blame to the shipper and have them cover it. Then he asked if I had read the manual (which would have been in the package) and claimed it directed the unit had to be unboxed and checked for damage upon receiving.... I had downloaded and read the manual several times for planning and HOA permitting reasons and immediately called him out on his lie.

They said the would E-mail me so I could respond with the pictures and videos then they waited 8 hours to do so. No problem, I saw the email come through and immediately provided a link to the pictures and videos.

They finally called back today and told me there was nothing they could do. They sold me a brand new unit that was damaged when the packaging was opened and they're claiming there is nothing they can do. I didn't package it, I didn't transport it, I didn't delay it necessitating storage. They never even issued a case number so I'm thinking they may well have never taken it up with Raypak. Hopefully Raypak will honor their warranty and swap the unit out but I know I will never consider doing business with Pool Supply Unlimited. Imagine spending thousands of dollars on something, receiving a damaged product then being told there was nothing they could do about it.
