Marbelite Color finish! my builder only wants to do white

Redoing older pool and my builder is very strongly suggesting NOT to do a colored marbelite. He is concerned about motteling and discoloring.
I would really like to do a dark grey.
Are there colors that work better ? I just don't want a white pool, i find it looks dated

it will mottle and discolor if not done right and there is a very good chance it will not be done right... Some really like a mottle look and some think it looks bad... you just have to figure out if it will bother you or not... If it does not bother you sign a waiver saying if it has different shades you are good with it

If it is done correctly it should not have a problem... study all of these and make them sign a contract stating they will do exactly what you ask them...

When I was researching the color for our pool I found the same information, but it is less likely to mottle or discolor depending on pigment used. We ended up going with a Wet Edge Luna Quartz in their Bermuda color because we were told that it has a very low pigment level and most of the color comes from the quartz pebbles in the mix.
