I have an ichlor 30 that has been showing a blinking red light, indicating low salt. I’ve tested my salt with a Taylor kit and it is reading >5000 ppm. Too high. I’m working on getting the salt level corrected by draining but I also need my SWG to work.
I replaced the flow switch twice - one spare pentair flow switch I had from a previous cell and again with an Amazon knockoff. Both flow switches also showed low salt level. Should I try to replace the flow switch a third time with a brand new genuine pentair version? Or is this more indicative that the cell is going bad. I have ~6000 hours on the cell.
Oddly enough when my spa is on the cell reads high salt level which I think is more accurate. At least when it reads high it still produces chlorine. My current pool temperature is around 80 degrees. Any help is appreciated.
