Hi everyone, I'm James, and I am a hardware store manager. I've been visiting this site regularly for 5 years, since I took my position. I used to maintain several pools for an apartment company, but I was mostly depending on limited knowledge. Once I started in the hardware business, where I do free pool tests, I quickly realized I have a lot to learn. I do not particularly want to reveal the name of my company for privacy reasons, since it is a local hardware store, but I make it my goal to be honest and forth coming, and my main goal is helping my customers, not selling them products.
I have never needed to post a question, because almost every question I've had has already been answered. But I am starting to get a little more intimate with the forum, and would like to start posting. I love science, and spend a lot of time getting deep into publications about chemistry (and astronomy, physics, etc lol), so this forum is right up my alley!
I am mostly here to help my customers troubleshoot, but hopefully I'll be able to offer something to the community as well, since I know how biased some pool companies can be and how world shattering it can be to find out someone you've trusted for so long can let you down for money.
I want to say I have deep respect for the experts and contributors here, and I am very familiar with many of your names!
