Little critters ..... SLAM?

We've had several inches of rain over the past 3 days. Just went out to check the pool and found all of these little critters jumping/swimming around my steps. Is this telling me that I should SLAM the pool? If not, should I just run the pump until they clear out? Here are my current test results. Water is (as always with the TFP method) so clear the pool looks empty.

I don’t you need to slam, just raise the chlorine to slam level once and keep the filter going.
