Link2O being replaced by Pentair Home

It's working for me fine, except my system is stuck in freeze protection. I disabled it in the settings for the VS pump and it's working fine, just no freeze protection, but that's no big deal heading into June. I don't see any weather data in the app anywhere so the Link2O bulletin that talks about accuweather and your zip code isn't helping.
I got the alert one morning after upgrading and it's been stuck ever since.

I wonder if the app thinks the air temp is below 40 F? When I select the Intelliconnect tile, the screen comes up that shows Equipment and at the bottom of the list of equipment is "Air Temperature" and it matches the actual air temp in my area. Does yours show the correct temp there?

Turns out my intelliconnect didn't register properly on first install of home. Deleted and readded it and air temp sensor was added. Also in the intelliconnect product overview screen it was missing a bunch of info and when I tried to edit it I got errors. Hopefully that helps for anyone else in the future

Thanks! I emailed them at an address I found in the app reviews ([email protected]) and it took them a little while to respond, but turns out it was an issue with the email client I use on my phone. I copied the link into a browser and it verified fine. So far I'm liking the new app. The layout is better, and seems to be working fine.

Has anyone had issues running their Intellichlor swg from the Pentair Home App? I have an ic40 running to it's own Power Center, and from there to an Intelliconnect. I was able to run (adjust) the swg from the link2O app but it's not working in Pentair Home. I've tried deleting and re-adding, shutting down via breakers, re-connecting the power/data cables, re-seated the output harness in the Power Center. I'm able to add the swg to the app but it just shows 0% Chlorine Output, Low Salt, 0 degree Temp... adjusting the output on the app has no affect on the actual equipment.

I'm able to control my SWG from the Pentair Home app. But in my setup the SWG goes directly to the Intelliconnect. No separate power center.

The LinkO2 worked great last year and first part of this year at my rental. I was forced to upgrade to the Home app and have had numerous issues. It worked for a week, now I'm back to not being able to Enable the pump in the app, it shows disabled (pump is running fine). IC40 shows water temp as -1 and will not produce any chlorine due to the Intelleconnect thinking the pump is not enabled. I spent 3 hours w/Pentair on Friday and 2 hours today, the only 4 people who have access to the "Intelliconnect servers" were out today. Support can't figure out if it is a server issue or a Intelleconnect issue. Since everything worked with LinkO2 I'm betting there is a bug in the Home app.

The IC40 has an external power supply (transformer), how are you bypassing it to connect directly to the Intelliconnect? Are you talking about the Yellow/Green RS485 wires?

Maybe I'll try bypassing the Power Center to test it. Are you also getting water temperature readings? Do you happen to remember which colored wires connect to which rs-485 terminals?
I do see the salt cell water temp and salt level on the IntelliChlor part of the app. Sorry, I don't know on the wire colors. I didn't do the installation myself.

I don't have an IC40. I was just answering the question about SWG's in general. I think mine is an IC30. It just has a cable that comes out of the SWG and connects to the bottom of the Intelliconnect for power and communication.

Is it a Pentair iChlor30? If so it still needs an external Power Center to operate. The SWG cable connects to the power center and out of the power center via RS485 to the Intelliconnect. If you are plugging the black wire directly in for power and communications, I do not think you have an Intelliconnect. If it is not a Pentair, your Intelliconnect will not be able to change the percentage for other brands.

Do you remember how you added your SWG to the Pentair Home app? There's an Add Equipment option once you're on the screen for the Intelliconnect. I'm wondering if that's the best/only way to do it or if the SWG was just automatically imported when the Intelliconnect was added to the app as a Device. I guess the bottom line question for me at this point is: How do I add an Intellichlor SWG to my Intelliconnect and Pentair home (as if it was being installed for the first time)? I've gone down about a dozen rabbit holes online now...there's not much specific info out there about this combo:/

My SWG was automatically added. I followed the instructions from Pentair on how to migrate to the app from Link2O and that included power cycling. Everything I saw in the app followed their instructions exactly. All of my devices appeared on the dashboard automatically (Intelliconnect, Light, Pump, SWG, and Air Temp.)

Ok thanks... not sure why mine didn't transfer over properly. I'll have to figure out how to re-add it.

I have had nothing but problems with the new app. I can not get my Swg (i30 model) anymore. I switched but had some other "pump" for the salt generator and the display kept showing 50% but it did show when low salt level. Local store removed that as it was not an SWG so I felt foolish, but they found the salt cell on the app and it appears but now the display is dark, nothing! If I put the intelliconnect to service the cell turns on with the relay being pushed as service turns off relays. I can then manually change the percentage on the cell itself but I noticed that I can not keep it on service mode for too long as cell then goes red on "flow" and display shows "loss" instead of percent.
