Any way to know if a pool liner is too small for the pool when you are installing? It’s an oval 15x30 pool with a universal bead liner and was ordered as a package directly from a reputable company online (see my extra commentary about that experience below). We are having a hard time. Every time we get to the end the pressure on the wall pops the wall out or collapses it. When the liner is rolled out it’s maybe 2/3 to 3/4 the size of the pool - we are stretching on days above 30 Celsius and using 6 pretty strong guys to make it happen. I just don’t think it should be this hard. Yes, we have a cove and have used laser levels every step of the way. Any thoughts? We did get it on once and started to fill - we had concerns that the liner was not close enough to the wall as it filled so we stopped and the liner popped off and collapsed the wall. It’s been a trying 2 weeks to say the least.
To make a long story short regarding the company we ordered from - I live in an area with no installers or suppliers so getting an above ground pool was an online buy. Searched a reputable company and part of our pool was lost in transit. After 2 months of near tears, we finally received the remainder of our pool. And now, nothing but problems installing and due to our past experiences I’m not confident with our product. If I could hire this out to be finished, I most certainly would.
