Struggling a bit to get the rubber bead on the back of the liner to fit into the receiver channels on the Hydra steel steps. I have to press so hard, the plastic install tools they sent are cutting into the rubber bead. Is there some sort of lubricant like dish soap or something I could use, or will that just make a mess?

Looks like I may have over-tightened some bolts holding the steps together; the gap between the riser and tread wasn't consistent and was too tight in some spots. Ended up using some electrical wire pull lube and was able to work them in.
