Anyone ever use one of those lexan light niche covers? I have a leaking light niche that can’t be repaired unless I dig up the deck and replace it. I’m just going to get a cover and a gasket and seal the thing off. If anybody has ever gotten one if mine some feedback on how it worked.

Let's see what @jimmythegreek thinks about the idea.

You have a link to the lexan light cover you are thinking of using?

They put it in today. It’s a 10 hole cover with a gasket on the back side. Seals up the light niche water tight. If you change the liner out, you put the cover on flush and put the new liner over the top. I just got a new liner last year. If I knew the epoxy was going to Crud out I’d have covered it when I had the liner replaced. The crack is on the opening of the niche. You can’t build up enough epoxy to properly seal it because if you do the light fixture won’t seat correctly. So I chose to cover it up for $225 instead of $3000 to pull up pavers, dig it out and replace it.5F586E4A-2FE3-4BF8-8D21-B8075075013D.jpeg
