If I'm using Aqua Bright Eco Finish on a new build. What recommended levels should I use? Vinyl or fiberglass? I doubt I would use the recommended plaster values. Soon to be pool owner and looking to get it right. Thanks in advance.

I don't think there is a significant enough difference between the vinyl and fiberglass recommended levels to matter. Isn't the only difference the CH? I would not think it would matter for your surface.

Right now it's designed to be liquid Chlorine/bleach. But I'm going to talk with my designer and go with SWCG.

I forgot the to mention the CH was what I was inquiring about. Lol

Can't answer my questions without the necessary details.

Thanks for the replies

I would take the average of the minimum and maximum for both surfaces. Then average both of them again. For CH, the magic figure is around 225, so shoot for 250. If this was my pool, I would shoot for 250.

Considering you are in Texas, CYA on the higher side (50) and everything else averages should be fine.

If you still have tile and grout in the pool then I suggest you follow the recommended levels for plaster. You don't need to give the calcium level quite the attention that you would in a plaster pool but it is still important.
