I found TFP near the end of last year. I'm SO excited to open today and implement all I have learned. I'm having the equipment professionally opened today, but they are not touching my chemicals. I switched companies to one that doesn't monkey with that side of things.

We're opening a little earlier than normal to be clean and ready to go for a gathering in two weeks.

Get to be a little chemist checking all my levels soon! 👩‍🔬

Oh also I just went to Walmart to buy the most recent chlorinating liquid in person and am feeling very pleased with myself. The oldest was from December, which might have been OK? But I found 13 gallons from the end of Jan.

So I mix before measuring?
Always. And test after mixing again for a bit to ensure you hit your targets. (Until they consistently hit their target and you trust them)

Fc, Ph and TA will be good after 30 mins but CH, CYA and salt need 24 hours before you can trust them.

No need to measure anything or add chemicals today?
You really need the CYA to know what the FC target is and the CYA has to wait. Add FC to 5 ppm if it isn't already once it mixes a while just so there is some in there.

The rest don't matter for a day.
