Last year I drained my doughboy AG to below the skimmer and return. It’s an older second hand pool that has an aqua door for it. Is there any harm in leaving the water level at full and using the aqua door and plugging the return in the northeast where it will freeze?

I did that last year on long island. As you know we froze solid. No harm at all. Obviously just make sure you bring in your pump and filter
Yes, everything outside the pool gets drained and stored.
