Been lurking here for awhile and we're 75% complete with pool build, but getting nervous that I'm forgetting something and their pouring our deck tomorrow so that's pretty much game over as far as making any changes...We are in month 4 of the project.

Quick overview of pool:
13.5 x 34
3' to 6' depth
7' x 7' square raised spillover spa

Premix Marbletite Freestone pebble finish in Azure (concerned this may be too dark blue?)
4x6 waterline ceramic tile (Indiano Blue)
mosaic glass tile for spa (variable blue colors with darker indigo)
Caribbean cream colored spray deck (lightest color offered--like a cream white)

3 deckjets
2 globrite LEDs

Intellichlor VSF
200 SF filter
IC40 Intellichlor
SQ145 Aquacal Heat Pump

Screen enclosure in bronze

Pool is in Melbourne, FL. They put the electric for the lights on one side to connect with existing power and then the pool pad will be on the other side of the house. Works well to keep the sound down. We are doing a spray deck not pavers and a square coping versus a cantilever more in line with the look we were going for.

I could attach some pictures of the build in progress if it helps. Just wanted to drop a quick line on here for any of the gurus and see what you thought. Our price has definitely increased from our original quote two years ago and we've upgraded the tile--an $8K upgrade to do glass with elastomeric grout. All in we're at $115K.

Thanks for any insights into what I may be missing or ways to make it better.

Is your equipment already delivered/installed? If not I would look at a bigger filter to lessen the frequency of cleanings.

Will it have an enclosure over your pool?

Do you have any sort of automation? For that price I would hope you have the IntelliCenter or at least EZ Touch.

Do you know how many gallons your pool will be. Your IC40 can handle pools up to 20k gallons.

Ps - i second a large filter…. No one ever said they wished they had a smaller filter

Maybe post some pictures of pool and if equipment pad for these guys to eyeball.

Awesome thanks for the quick replies...tried to add the schematic but not sure it uploaded...Yes there will be a screen enclosure.

Yes, I asked for the Intellicenter--quoted me $5K for that upgrade. Pool is 13.500 gallons, empt pad is 30 sq feet.

$5k just for Intellicenter sounds high, even with the integrated power cell for the SWG

On apples to apples the labor for installing is close to same so it should just be hardware? 🤔

From memory it should be a 1000-1500$ hardware difference? Maybe @Newdude or @Jimrahbe has better $$ off the top of their head

Retail.
$3700 for Intellicenter PS8 with IC40
$1500 for IC40 with power center.

So $2200 difference, retail.
Here's a breakdown in my upgrades and basic pool:

3 deck jets--$1900
3 globrite LED lights--$1600
Intellicenter--$5950
Freestone $5K
raised spa $3500

I don't think I got a credit for the standard equipment...Guess I need to push them on that...they didn't charge me for the deck jets since I cut out the raised area in back of my pool which was the same price.

I'm paying $1000 for an 18 inch raised spa, $8K for glass tile, and base price with screen, demo of existing pool, and base pool of $86K.

I know the math is all over the place here but $86 base pool/screen + $8K tile upgrade + $17,500 for upgrades.
