Keeping leaves out of pool for Fall.

Labor Day weekend typically means the end of another pool season. I had a great season this year, but always dread when the cool weather sets in. I have an IG 16’x36’ pool with tall trees all around. Would like to figure out a way to keep the leaves out of the pool. Seems like I could construct some type of wood or pvc frame draped with netting to stop the leaves. Anybody use any homemade contraptions to keep the leaves out during the Fall & Winter months?

I have trees all around, too, but most of the leaves that end up in my pool are blown in from the deck -- they don't fall directly from the trees into the water.

If your situation is similar, you might not need to construct a net cover over the entire pool; a low fence around your pool might be enough to keep most of the leaves out.
