Juggling High CYA and Algae

Update:
Saturday morning (Day 4). Checked for OCTL. 0 ppm loss. Suh-weet! Water is clear!

Letting the FC come down still, then I'll recheck all the parameters and start adjusting again! Yay! Thanks for the help everyone! You are such a valuable resource!

Is there anything else I need to do or just enjoy it at this point?

Here are my readings from today.

Temp 66.7
FC 10.5
pH 7.6
TA 65
CH 200
CYA 45
Bo 15
TDS 1070
CC 0
CSI -0.49

Target
FC 5
pH 7.5
TA 80
CH 250
CYA 45
Bo 55

My plan is to add some baking soda to get TA up a little. But pretty much leave the CH alone as it gradually climbs up during the summer anyway. Then put in the boric acid to bring borates back into the pool. I am happy to hear any suggestions.

Looking good, You can let the FC drift down. Your CYA of 45 rounds up to 50. Be sure to keep your FC level correct per FC/CYA chart. I would leave TA alone as higher TA tends to aid in quicker pH rise. TA can be as low as 50 without issue.

Keep an eye on FC & pH daily for a while.
