Jandy WaterColor LED RGBW Pool Light

I currently have a 120V Jandy WaterColor LED RGBW Pool Light. My control of the light is done by cycling the power basically to cause it to switch colors.

I would like to replace it with a 12V solution (hopefully for more reliability). The question is can the 12v versions be controlled the same way by my panel (with a transformer of course). Or do they use a different method for color control on the 12v products?

my last 120V one lasted barely a year ;-/

Welcome to TFP.

12V LED lights are controlled the same way as LED 120V lights.

There is no difference between the lights other than the 120V light has a transformer in the light.
