I have a Jandy VSP and I've been trying to find information on how long I should be running the pump and at what RPM's. I have an 18,000 gallon chlorine pool/spa that is pretty shallow. Since I live in Houston, the water temp gets pretty high and given how many people we have in the pool every weekend, I have to run it quite a bit to prevent algae issues. Does anyone have any recommendations on what RPM and pump time settings to use? I realize running it at a lower RPM for longer will save me quite a bit, but I'm concerned about not getting the water turned over enough and ending up with algae problems again.
