Jandy PDA-PS8 and a Jandy Stealth SHPM2.0-2

Been doing a bit of Googling . . . with no luck . . . to answer this question. My Google-Fu is usually pretty good. So, I'm either having an off day due to either ignorance of proper search terms, there is little information on the topic, or I have an incompatibility.

Will the Jandy PDA-PS8 control a two-speed pump? I see the menu contains options for variable speed pumps, but I see nothing about two speed pumps.

Before I go asking the PB, I just wanted to have a little knowledge for a more efficient conversation. Of course, I know this is the place to come!

Yes, you would use the Jandy two speed relay p/n 6796.

However, if this is a new pool, I would recommend a variable speed pump.

Thanks for the info. Yes, it's a new pool. But, the 2x speed is already in place and running.

As JamesW pointed, a Jandy two-speed relay is needed. It should be wired to AUX2 socket in your Power Center. S1 DIP switch #2 should be set to on.

Low speed is activated by pressing AUX2 button on the PDA. It's best to rename AUX2 to be "Low Speed".
