Jandy NeverLube Valves

I have some Jandy Pool Valves that could be from 1995 or 2002 or 2010. Whatever they are the universal kit for never lube valves, 4720, are the right size but the lower pin is different. Inyo, Jandy, no one knows. I have included pics of the diverter, the inside valve body, and the pin. These valves have 8 screw covers. Does anyone know if a diverter exists for these?

Can you just drill a hole in the bottom of the diverter to make it work like the old one?

The diameter of the pin on the replacement 4720 is about 1/64 inch bigger than the socket. Obviously the easiest thing, if there were an abundance of valves available that weren’t stupidly expensive, would be to replace the whole valve but such a waste if I don’t need to!
