At least once a year, always at opening, the water to the switch is blocked. Its blocked at the outlet from the heater TO the 1/4" copper pipe that leads to the switch. I have to take the heater cover off and remove a plug to get at where the blockage is.

Does anyone have any experience on dealing with this?

Thanks

See if you can find the right size of copper wire that you could push into the line and get rid o the blockage. If not, yes you have to take it apart like you said to clean it. Have you tried just unscrewing the pressure switch to see if the water flow will naturally flush it out? The header is rusting inside and clogging it.

Yeah thats how I can tell, I unscrew the line from the switch. I guess your supposed to do that in the fall to make sure the switch doesn't get damaged.

I'll see if I can find something thats the right size and flexible enough. The tube is about 18" long.
