Is there a way to change setpoint for the pool by schedule? Alternatively can I just disable pool heat? I am trying to limit the amount of time I spend heating my pool as
1) We dont use it daily - mostly just on weekends
2) We keep it at 86F but dont normally swim in mornings so afternoon is totally fine and its in the sun.

Id rather not turn the heater off completely just looking for a way to limit runtime while still running my filter

Yes, you can add your heater to your schedule. Mine has Temp1 and Temp2 (2 set points). This is because I have a single body of water system. Do you also have 2 set points?

You can't change the set points automatically. For mine, I can just set one at a low temp and one at a high temp and schedule them. Not sure how yours would do it. Do you have a spa? Usually when it has that label it will switch to spa mode.

I don't use the scheduler for my heater. I set one temp at like 85 and the other at 90. I'll usually keep the 85 on all the time so it never gets too cold and let the thermostat do its thing and when I want to swim, I'll turn on the other one.

ahh I mis-read your 2 set points.

I do not have 2 set points. I have 2 bodies of water with a spillover

Do you have iAqualink? I can turn my heater on whenever I want from my phone from anywhere. So if we are out to eat and decide we want to swim when we get back home, I turn it on at the restaurant.

yeah I do - I am however extremely lazy :p

It also takes a while to get from 82-86 to swim. Though I see your pool is larger than mine (unless my calcs are way off which they could be)

You can add different temperature set points in the one touch settings. When you set it up and add pool heat to each one touch you have the opportunity to set the set point also. This doesn’t change the default pool, or spa temp, just the temp the heater is set to while the one touch is active.

The one touch item can then be scheduled.

BUT, when a one touch item ends its scheduled time it doesn’t play well with other things that may be scheduled and running at the same time. It tends to turn everything off which really limits its usefulness.
