Hi, I have a Jandy diverter and one of the screw slots cracked from the outer side. (photos attached) I know snugged it just a bit too hard unfortunately.

Can this cause an air leak? Is there a way to fix it? I read super glue maybe or could a longer screw work on this?

Thank you!!

Chris

Welcome to TFP! It looks like only the outer portion of the screw housing is exposed, so you might be okay for a while. As long as the lid is still pulled down tightly and the screw housing isn't cracked on this inside (behind the screw), it may not leak. If this is on the pressure side and it was leaking, you would probably see water seeping out. If it's on the suction side (before the pump), then watch for increased air in the pump pot. Other than that, lighten up on the spinach so you don't over-tighten. :hammer:
