Jandy AquaPure 1400 - Understanding the parts needed?

Another day, another thread trying to decipher Jandy's catalog (though I have gotten very good at this when it comes to their automation!). In today's case, I'm trying to figure out exactly what is required to make an AquaPure system function. It seems that the few complete "kits" I can find include the AquaPure "Power Pack" (basically an enclosure for the SWCG control panel and what looks like an AquaLink PCB). I was under the impression the SWCG control panel would reside in the AquaLink housing if you have an existing install. Therefore my question is, do I need this entirely separate Power Pack enclosure? Or do I have it totally wrong and the Power Pack is where the transformer for the SWCG is housed? I have not seen a picture of what a full AquaPure install looks like (this would be awesome!).

Also, like someone brought up in another thread, boy I sure wish there was some way to properly automate a non-Jandy SWCG in an AquaLink install.

Edit: Nevermind, I'm an idiot. There's no space for the control panel in the AquaLink enclosure. In my head, I was seeing where the multiplexer board goes. I guess I really do need everything in the kits. I just need to find someone who is willing to sell it to me at any reasonable price.

@PoolGate can probably help with where the transformer goes in the Aqualink.

When you buy Aqualink and SWG together, it comes within a single housing (box like above) with everything in that enclosure. When you buy it separately, you get APUREM as a stand-alone power center. You could combine the two yourself if you wanted to.

For a full SWG setup you need the 700/1400 cell and the APUREM power transformer.

It seems like they, at one point (I can't find anything on their site now) they sold the PureLink, which is what @ajw22 shows in that picture. It was, in fact, an Aqualink RS system with the AquaPure control unit and transformer in a single enclosure with accommodations for 8 relays. Similar to a standard ALRS enclosure, but with a hole cut out of the cover to allow the SWCG control panel to be visible.

The rest makes sense now from what PoolGate says. The APUREM is all that seems to be sold now. It will accommodate an AquaLink PCB and transformer, but it only has room for 4 relays. I suppose you could rip out your whole AquaLink enclosure and replace it with the APUREM enclosure if you only needed the 4 relay setup.

You can still buy the whole setup. I also suspect you could buy just the full-sized empty enclosure.

Look at this selection guide (power center section) it lists all the boxes you can get.

And for what it's worth, Pinch a Penny did give me a chuckle. $3k for the AquaPure 1400 system and tried to talk me out of buying it because "that salt water will just destroy any travertine or sandstone". I just told him "oh okay, so what's the price again? Just want to make sure I heard right." Boy, I sure do the hate the pool industry.
