I have a FSOFT1400 Nature2 Fusion Soft Salt Generator & Mineral System. I started getting codes 125 / 194. The Cell was pretty corroded and salted up, so I purchased a new cell.
I am still getting these codes after the new cell is replaced. Is this something a DIYer can troubleshoot and repair or should I call in a technician?

No, is there a way to check the cable or the connection to the cell?

You could remove it and run a continuity test with a multimeter. But the cell end frequently gets corroded. I seem to remember that my cell came with a new cord. Also - do you want your old cell? I would be glad to cover shipping if you don't.

You should always replace the cord when replacing the cell. What cell did you get? Usually you want to get the whole cell kit with the 1400 cell, trisensor and cord. Can you show the old cell and cord and the new cell?
The middle plate was pretty bad and not much left. Now that I look at it the trisensor is bad too. I will purchase a new one. Thank You

Maybe a bad cord.

Check the voltage and current.

You should test the voltage under load.

With the cell under full load you should read 22 to 28 volts DC.

I would make two jumpers to go between the spade connectors with a bare spot on the wires to test voltage.

You need some stranded wire, (2) 1/4” female spade connectors and (2) 1/4” male spade connectors.

Disconnect the connection and insert the jumpers.

Connect the meter leads to the bare spots and then check voltage to the cell when the cell comes on.

Be careful to not allow the bare spots to make contact with anything.

My board was bad so I purchased a new Jandy TRUCLEAR11KU TruClear Salt Chlorinator Kit. I have the old Aquapur 1400 along with the new cell and cable which I intend to sell. Are you interested?

Sorry - no I was just looking for a used Nature2 cell as my cell plates are good other than the center plate.

BTW: That TruClear is a known trouble SWG. Make sure you register it if (when) you need warranty work. The cell frequently dies early. Especially if your water parameters are not spot on as it is very sensitive to calcium buildup.

I have used plates as well.
