Jandy 260jxi IGN Fault

I just had a brand new Jandy 260 jxi installed. The company I bought it from did all the plumbing but doesn’t do electric or gas line. I just had a gas line ran yesterday. I converted the electric to 120V myself. When I powered the unit on the fan starts blowing for about 30 seconds and then the heater starts. It runs for about 3-5 seconds and then fades off. It does this 3 times and then I get the IGN Fault Check. I asked the guy that ran the gas and he said it could be that the polarity is reversed and occasionally this happens. I thought it could be a lack of gas supply. Please point me in the right direction.

Does it every actually start? Do you smell gas?
No it never turned over and ran consistently.

***Update***

As I wrote the original post I really started thinking about what was happening. So I simply shut down the system. Plugged it into another outlet. Started the pump and turned the heater on. Set it to 85 and waited. Would you believe that the Dang thing kicked on and turned over and ran perfectly. So I’ll be taking a look at that other outlet in the morning and switching the wires.
