That is perfectly fine and once you put it in the water it will fill with water and look perfect.. That is a wear item so every couple months have a look at it again as it wears down over time.. Mine looked way worse than that, in the US they started putting in a warning label about it

It’s from being shipped & sitting in the box. Not damage persay just mushed. This is the reason you should also store it on its side or on the caddy when it’s not in the pool.
