Is staying on the positive side of CSI sufficient for newer plaster

Hi to everyone,

I've seen on a few posts to get CSI close to +.6 for new plaster. My plaster is 1 month old.
Seems high to me and pool math shows potential to scaling. To even get to +.3 I would have to max out on the goals on pool math. Is just being on the positive side ok for new plaster? I'm using about 20 oz. of acid per day to keep it under 8.0

Thanks

FC: 6
pH: 7.6 - 7.8
TA: 90
CH: 270
CYA: 35

Temp: 80
CSI:+.03

0.0 or close is best. Positive risks scaling if the pH gets high. Negative is more aggressive to plaster and causes pH rise.

Typically, -0.3 to +0.3 works well. Plan ahead for temperature changes as that affects the CSI.
