Is it okay to put Cal hypo pucks in one floater and trichlor tablets in a different floater??

If I tie them on opposite sides of the pool, can call hypo tablets be in one floater and trichlor tablets be in the other floater and both be in the water at the same time apart? 16'x32' pool. Thanks! And if so, what's the best way to keep them stationary and not right next to my vinyl liner either?

Floaters need to move to distribute chlorine properly. If you anchor it you will still get bleach out on the floor of the liner as the chlorine will accumulate in that one spot. Why are you wanting to use both types of tablets at one time?
