When I was looking up the price of heat pumps, there was a $600 in the smallest one 85k BTU to the 140k BTU, Would it be better to just get the bigger one? There's a 127k in between and it's a 10k pool in SW Florida.

The customer is buying himself.. the heat pumps are on leslie's website. I can probably get him a discount at Leslie's. $2,999 I think for the cheapest one.
If the heat pump will maintain a constant temperature, you could use the 127k btu/hr model.
If the pool will be heated on occasion, go with the 140kbtu/hr.
