Good morning everyone just wanted to introduce myself to this forum and better explain the "Pool Nighmare" post name. First and foremost my name is Juan and I live in California about 2 hrs East of San Diego. Desert area and very hot in the summer. My family and I started our pool journey/nightmare in the Fall of 2022 and were promised a finished product before the Summer of 2023. Well after many many delays and our contractor abandoning our project, we're still in the middle of getting it completed. Luckily we've been able to use the pool since the Fall of 2023 even though it's not complete. Anyway still dealing with the madness of becoming the general contractor, working with bond companies, permits, concrete issues, leaks, pool sinking?, etc. At this point what's done is done so I'm jumping on this forum to learn more stuff. Looking forward to it.
