If you have your pool set up on sand can you share some pics of your set up with the footings and wood/pavers under your legs?

We had the ground dug up and framed with wood posts then filled in with 3-4 inches of sand and leveled . I’m worried this is not the best way to set up the pool but just spent $650 doing this. I want to fill my pool but would like to see people who have set up like this

I don’t have this kind of pool, so no photos. First, a few questions... what type and size of blocks/pavers did you use? Are they dug into and level with solid ground?

It‘s fine to use a thin layer of sand to smooth out your surface, but the sand can’t support the legs once all the water weight is added.

we used ground contact pressure treated wood and got 2x8 and cut in 16 squares.. when you say a thin level we have about 3 inches of sand is that too much? the black under the sand is a ground cloth over our dirt

Since you have the box, it might be ok, but the big story is your blocks. Are they dug in, so that the top of the block is even with the solid ground? If you just have them on top of sand, they are going to sink and make your pool not level.
