This is just an FYI as I remember people had difficulty getting the Intex pipework converted to PVC pipe.
There are adapters that work off the shelf:
Those two screwed together make this:
Which you add the stepped / L profile Intex rubber washer to:
And here is the blanking cap from the backwash port fitting perfectly onto it:
The PVC to screw fitting is 1.5” to 1.5” and the male/female screw adapter is 1.5” to 2”.
I tested it with the Intex pipe and there are no leaks at all.
It cost me £12 to make up four complete adapters.
