Just got done plumming up my intex generator after spending 2 hrs at Lowes this is what i came up with and cost $4.00
(2) 1 1/2 male threads to 1 1/2 street glue adapter- schedule 40 PVC (Theis are all round and have no flat ends on them you need pipe wrench to tighten)
(2) 1 1/2 female adapters- glue to threads- schedule 40 PVC
take your male adapter and cut the threads off and sand down flat this is the end that goes against the intex o-rings ( i sanded mine on a belt sander then trued it with sand paper on glass) put your intex nut over the street end then glue your female adapter on. if you are hard plumming just get the 1 1/2 glue coupling.
