Intex for now w/ SWG

Hey all.
Search found so threads for this question but didn't really find a answer.
I want to run my pump on FP and run the SWG at 4 hours [n and off. Haven't noticed if the SWG kicks back on after the initial start up. Next year I plan on separating the pump and SWG if the prices are good.
My pump/sand filter combo is in signature.
Question is, anyone else run this setup?
