Yesterday, I started assembling my Intex pool and connecting the sand filter and swg. Then in the middle of assembling it poured down with heavy rain. I think the pool has about an inch of water inside. It's not enough water to use the bottom plug to drain. I'm schedule to fill the pool with water on Friday. Do I need to be worry about draining the little bit of water?

I don't want to worry about starting bad with the water chemistry. In addition, the sand filter housing has a crack. Replacement is being ship as well. Any advice from the water gurus......

Thanks in advance.

You actually shouldn't have an above ground pool assembled without water. The wind could collapse or stretch the liner. It's a big no-no. Hopefully it works out fine for you.

I wouldn't worry about draining the 1 inch, once you get it filled friday any algae blooms starting you can kill since it won't be the entire pool. Plus I don't think the algae would start growing in what 4 days? You could always get a submersive pump and take the water out if you are worried. If I were you I would actually add more water from your garden hose.
