A day ago lost power to the house for about 12 hours. Went out to start the pump and had no indication on the pump control panel. Checked power and there is power at the pump connector. Appears that something may have fried the pump controller as an lightning strike took our the transformer to my house and the neighbors. Any one have any experience with intelliflow vs pumps is my drive unit possibly toast?

Probably.
This is why we recommend all VS pumps be protected with whole house type surge protectors. I actually installed two. One in the main power panel, where my power comes in, and a second one in the pool sub panel. $125 for both devices and a few hours DIY is cheap insurance. Almost all VS pump problems are caused by electronic drive failure. A VS pump is actually a computer combined with a high powered motor, which is placed outdoors, then feed through very long power leads. What could go wrong?

Did you try to flip the breaker off and then on again? Watch the LCD screen when you do, to see if it shows a failure. I am currently experiencing this issue; my LCD screen briefly flashes "Power Failure! ALARM" for a few seconds and then goes blank. PEntair is sending a company out to troubleshoot it.
