Trying to figure out the gpm for my pump. In the manual there is a chart but I can't figure out how to properly read it. I run my pump at 1,700 rpm for circulation, 3,100 rpm for the cleaner and 2,300 for our spa spillway. Here is the chart for reference. Thanks for any help!

Why? ;) There is generally no need to know the GPM flow rate. Usually when people ask it is because they are trying to figure or turnovers. At TFP, we have found there is no point in worrying about turnovers. The pool only needs 2-4 hours of pump run time for chemistry mixing. You might need more for other reasons, SWG, cleaning, heating, etc.

I have a SWG so that is my concern. I seem to be having to run my SWG more than I expected. I run the circulation for 8 hours at 1,700 rpm and I run the cleaning cycle for 3 hours at 3,100 rpm. My test readings show FC at 1.0. I know my CYA is too low so I'm bringing that up to 70. Hopefully then I will be able to lower the IC-60 SWG to 60-80%, right now it's running at 100%.

If your water circulates good at 1700, your spillway spills good at 2300, and you cleaner cleans good at 3100 that's all you need to know. Like Jason said there's no real reason to know what the actual flow rate of the pump is.

Just saw your reply, increasing the flow thru your SWG won't increase the chlorine it makes so long as there is enough flow to close the flow switch on the SWG you are putting enough water thru it. If your CYA is low that could be the reason or you could be fighting algae in the water. What do your test results say.

The SWG is either on or off. If you do not get a low flow warning, you have enough flow. 1700 should be easily enough flow.

If your FC dropped too low, I suggest doing the OCLT to see if anything is in the water. If you fail, follow the SLAM process. When compete, raise the CYA and dial in the SWG.
