Intellichlor power center shot?

My intellichlor has been blowing fuses. About 3 last year. I also replaced the cell last year, an ic 60, which was at the end of its lifespan. When the pool was closed I noticed it wasn’t working. Opened this year, replaced the fuse, and I have no power to the cell. One of the blows last year I replaced the fuse holder. What a pain in the butt that was for anyone with normal sized fingers.
Anyways, my power center is 22 years old. Do I assume it’s the problem and replace? I haven’t opened the box yet this year. Is there something I should look for or test?
I see someone else’s problem was a relay but I’m not sue how I would know that.
Any advice on my next step?
Thanks

Bob,

For the Power Center to work, it would have to get AC power. In theory, that AC power should come from the Pump/Filter relay inside your automation.

See if you can figure out where the Power Center gets its AC power and make sure it is there.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Well my power center is getting power when the pump is running. I just used a voltage tester. Just a pen, not a meter. Still no lights on the cell. I replaced the fuse again just in case. My model is pre green light.
Any other reason a new cell would have no lights?
Power center is 23 years old.
Thanks
