Intellichlor physical connection to Intellicenter

Hi All.
I remove my Intellichlor from my plumbing in the winter. Every time I try to reconnect the cable to the intellicenter when I open for the season, I have the darnest time aligning the pins on the intellichlor cable to the socket on the bottom of the intellicenter. The bottom of my intellicenter is kinda low and I have to lay on the ground to make this connection, and even then I struggle. Does anyone know of a "trick" for this connection?

Too late now, but why is the IntelliCenter mounted so low? You want the top of it up at eye height..

Not sure what the problem is.. The connector is keyed, so it will only fit one way. All of mine just connect right up.

Let's see if any of our other members have run into your problem...

Yea, the electrician mounted pretty low (see pic). Also that thorny rose bush doesn't help matters. LOL.
