Intellicenter Stuck Looking for Firmware

Hello-

This morning I clicked on "Check for Firmware Updates" on the outside panel. I returned a few hours later and it's still spinning, looking for a firmware update. I can still connect to it from the app and it's still running my schedules, I think it's just stuck.

I am thinking I should hold the reset button down but wanted to check if that was the appropriate course of action.

I would reboot and start again. Hopefully you've kept a thumb drive with your configuration file. If not, try to do that before you reboot. If you have trouble getting it to download at the panel you can just download the update file online then use that file to update the panel.

Thanks! I did the reset and it powered right back up with nothing lost. Good point on the backup config, I have not considered that but I will make one.
