IntelliCenter Questions now that the EasyTouch is obsolete

I got an old simple timer inground pool subpanel system (Aquadyne MiniPak) which finally gave out. So nothing is supplying my pump/filter/light.
Given this news, can I simply bypass having and EasyTouch and swap out my whole subpanel right away to an IntelliCenter? Please help this newbie :cry:
