I have an Intellicenter with 4 valve actuators. One is for the returns and the other 3 are for the slide and laminars. Currently, I have the returns visible in features and turn them off when I turn on the slide and vice versa. I created a circuit that will turn off the returns when I turn on the slide but how do I turn them back on AUTOMATICALLY when I turn off that circuit? My concern is someone forgetting to turn the returns back on manually when we turn off the slide (the returns valve is slightly open all the time though).

Brett,

The stock IntelliCenter does have 4 actuators, but two of them are restricted to use as the Intake and the Return valves. These valves only move when changing between the Pool and Spa mode, they cannot be programmed. The other two valves A and B can do anything you want.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Thanks Jim. Another case of a smart system being dumb! At least I don't have to manually turn the valves every time. I'm sure someone has figured a way around it outside of the Pentair app.

I am a little confused as to how this is set up since, as Jim mentioned, the IC has preprogrammed sockets for 2 of the actuators, unless the valve expansion module has been installed.

Regardless, the answer to your question is to group all of the items together in a circuit group, and then with a single toggle on or off, it will move all of the valves at one time.
