Last spring I upgraded to a Pentair IntelliFlo/Pro3 variable speed pump.

The pump has a ginormous inlet.

I’ve historically winterize the main drain by pressurizing it through a plug in the pump inlet. I can’t find a plug to fit the Pentair pump. Any suggestions?

I assume you're using a compressor ? Many use the drain plug threads with a compressor fitting instead. Plug all your returns and it can only blow out the suction side.

What do you use to blow out your lines?

Post pics of your equipment pad so we can see what you are working with.

I use a cyclone blower to pressurize the main drain, then I turn off the valve and put a plug in the pump inlet just in case any air should get around the valve.

The thing is the inlet on the Pentair and tellin flow is an odd size it’s not 2 inches and it’s not 3 inches it’s somewhere in between
