I used to own a house with an inground pool that I installed a solar heater for. I have since moved to a new place and best I can do right now is a medium size inflatable pool.

Does anyone have any tips for getting some equipment that can be used to heat the pool?

best first investment for heat or rather retaining heat is a bubble wrap type solar cover.
