My PH is 7.2 and Alkalinity 110. I am trying to increase the PH with aeration. I tried several return fittings from Amazon that help with aeration but none fit correctly so I returned them. I have a 1/2 HP sump pump, I put it on one of the steps and put it on, it’s pushing the water up (the top of the pump is about 6 to 7 inches under water).

It might take a while to increase PH, will this work and how long will it take? Pool is 35K gallos chlorine and about 89F (it’s been hot here recently). I keep the pool covered by blue bubble wrap when not using and at night.

Thanks.
