Im ordering a new salt cell for my pool 25000 gal pool with Hayward Tcell925. Would I be able to SLAM with the salt cell if I ever need to i

Assuming good chemistry management, you should never need to SLAM.

If you get bad algae, then you need liquid chlorine.

For a minor amount of algae where you need to maintain a SLAM level, you might be able to maintain with the SWG after you raise the FC to SLAM level with liquid chlorine.

I extend a formal invitation to join #TeamRunHot. We will never discuss your algae again. :)

If you were to buy the IC60 instead of the IC40, it would be like buying the IC40 at regular price, plus an IC20 at 69% off. The maths works WAY in your favor when upsizing.

The IC60 would Lol at your northern UV demand and need 50% less runtime to produce the same FC. It would save a chunk of electricity if you have a SS pump, or still be helpful if you want to run your VS pump less.
