I'm almost to a sparkly pool
It usually doesn't take me this long to get sparkly but we left the pool cover off during the winter and have had to do SO much more
work this year because of it. I won't make that mistake again. Also this year we've had 2 big hail storms that knocked loads of Crud into the pool (and dented my car) and we've had temps over 100 most days since June 15th.
My numbers
FC-15
CC-.5
pH- 8.2 (because of chlorine)
TA- 110
CYA- 40
I am still losing chlorine overnight, usually from 15 down to 11 or so. I plan to keep FC at 15 just a little longer. Anything else I should be doing or checking right now?? The water is blue, I can see the bottom, it's just a little cloudy. Oh, the sand is new (and I did backwash before I put it in filter mode, our cleaner is picking up a little sand, not much).
Thanks and have a great 4th
