Intellichlor 40 with easytouch pentair control. IC40 had no lights. Pump running fine. Noticed intellichlor breaker had tripped so pushed it back to all black and IC40 worked for many hours and Chlorine level was increasing in pool. Pump turned off by timer and when pump came on again, all lights on IC40 OFF again but the small black breaker did not trip this time. The PCBA 521593 board does not appear to have an indicator light- at least there is not one glowing on the board. I see the replacement board is 521218. How can I test to verify the problem os the board? Thanks!

gail,

The board should have a green LED when working,

The board will not get any AC power unless the system is in Auto and the Pool mode or Spa mode.

The board gets about 28 Volts AC in from the SWCG transformer and converts it to 30 to 40 Volts DC that powers the cell.

You can measure the AC into the board (two small red wires) and the DC out between the large Red and Black wires going to the cell.

Thanks,

Jim R.
